Chapter PD: 2018 Joint CPA FMI PD Workshop

May 15 - May 16

The Victoria chapters of the Chartered Professional Accountants and the Financial Management Institute invite you to the 18th annual Joint Professional Development Workshop. This year’s theme is Hot Topics and Trends in the Public Sector. Topics for presentation and discussion include fiscal planning, debt management, fraud and risk management, financial management, artificial intelligence and robotic process automation in finance, how to build a Ministry and much more! Plus sessions on diversity, ethics and finance career paths in the BC Public Sector along with everyone’s favorite, accounting update!!

Advance registration is required for this workshop (closes May 11, 2018).

Please join us from 4:30 pm– 7:00 pm on May 15th for The Big Wine and Cheese Networking Reception at The Guild. Unwind with your fellow conference delegates at the historic Guild Freehouse, where a fun wine tasting with matching cheese and cured meat await. You’ll also have a chance to win a BC Wine Gift Basket with MNP’s Big Cheese Challenge! The cost to attend is $5 and all proceeds will be donated to the Mustard Seed Food Bank.
