On Saturday November 2, 2019, about two dozen CPABC members and candidates/students attended Quest Food Exchange located on Dundas Street in Vancouver to sort and re-package pasta, pasta sauce, chicken and also re-stock the freezer, check for expired products and general clean-up.

Quest is a not-for-profit that operates retail stores that are open to the public serving people who are in need of high quality nutritious food products at affordable prices. Their mission is to reduce hunger with dignity.

Eddie McWhirter CPA CGA and Jaz Poole CPA CA, both members of the Quest board of directors, were also in attendance to thank the volunteers.  Eddie and Jaz provided an overview of the organization’s work and mission.  They also shared their personal connection with Quest.
