Recap: Chapter Volunteers Help at Quest Food Exchange

On Saturday February 2, 2019, twenty CPABC members and CPA candidates/students attended Quest Food Exchange located on Dundas Street in Vancouver to sort and package food donations for redistribution and resale in the retail store.

Members packed and weighed chocolates, checked expiry dates of products in the store and ensured packages of food were properly labeled.

Quest is a not for profit organization that receives food donations and distributes these items to where the need is greatest.

Quest has retail stores that are open to the public serving people who are in need of high quality nutritious food products at affordable prices.

The event was organized by Stacey Lee CPA CA – community outreach co-chair for the CPABC Vancouver Chapter.  The chapter organizes several community engagement events each year.
