About the Speakers:
Joann Khor, CPA, CA, CISA, CIA, CRMA
Joann is a CPA with international experience in internal audit, IT audit, internal control and enterprise risk management to help mitigate risk, enhance systems and processes as well as improve decision making. She is a member of the IIA Vancouver Chapter board (Advocacy).
Samer Rahim, MBA, CFSA
Samer joined ACL in 2016 as a manager specializing in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) implementation. Prior to joining ACL, he has over 10 years of professional experience working for Ernst & Young in the Risk Advisory Service Line. Samer has worked with a number of public and private sector companies in the areas of Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Assessment, Enterprise Risk Management and Audit Transformation. He is a member of the IIA Vancouver Chapter (Certification).
