Community Event – JDRF Revolution Ride to Defeat Diabetes
CPABC member Bill Holms CPA CA, a partner at PWC, is the chair of the Ride Cabinet of the 2018 Revolution Ride to Defeat Diabetes, presented by Sun Life. The event is a high-energy stationary cycle that will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Vancouver Art Gallery – North Plaza (750 Hornby Street, Vancouver).
Every year, the JDRF Revolution Ride to Defeat Diabetes draws people together for a worthy cause – raising money for research that helps to cure, better treat and prevent type 1 diabetes (T1D). The ride builds camaraderie among company employees, and offers an opportunity for networking and sector driven challenges, such as the Accounting Challenge. If you would like to join the fun you can register on the JDRF website. Or if you prefer not to ride, JDRF offers lots of great volunteer opportunities including: pit crew, crowd control, food/refreshments, set up and take down, registration and more. Check out these volunteer opportunities.
