CPABC Vancouver Chapter is looking for volunteers to help make lunches for those less fortunate. We have partnered with Door Is Open – a drop-in centre that provides food, clothing, counselling, shelter services and referrals, and a warm and safe environment in the heart of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. The Downtown Eastside is a neighborhood recognized for the highest concentration of the poorest urban population in the whole of Canada. KPMG has generously given us the use of their kitchen facilities to make 300 lunches.

Door Is Open is also looking for fresh produce donations such as carrots, celery, onions, etc. should volunteers wish to provide additional assistance.
