The CPAEF and CPABC Vancouver Chapter offer seven awards each year totaling $8,500.  Awards are selected by the faculty to students based on academic achievement, volunteerism and leadership, or financial need, to those with the intent to pursue the CPA program after graduation.

Christine Woodington CPA CGA, vice-chair of the CPABC Vancouver Chapter, attended the event along with David Chiang CPA CA, Vice President Member Advice and Programs.  Woodington said, “Donors can make an incredible difference to BCIT students.  Awards help students overcome financial barriers so that these students can better focus on their studies.”
