CPABC Tri-Cities Ridge/Meadows Chapter is excited to welcome Richard Jang CPA, CGA, back op the chapter to present on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
Microsoft Excel (3 hours)
This session will start with Excel Shortcuts, Tips and Tricks to improve your day to day productivity using Excel. Some of the topics presented include navigation shortcuts, manipulating text & date values, data validation, and customized sorting. Whether you’re new to Excel or an experienced user, Functions and Formulas are something many people deal with on a daily basis.
We will get started with the most common formulas used by accounting and financial professionals with a focus on taming IF statements and getting the most from lookup and data functions. When our formulas misbehave and don’t give us the results we’re expecting, this session will cover the necessary tools to help users fix the problem.
Finally, we will go over the new Microsoft Power Tools – PowerQuery, PowerPivot, PowerView sand find out what these Power Tools do and why more and more accounting and financial professionals are adding these skills to their reporting toolbox.
Microsoft Outlook (1 hour)
Many professionals spend a good part of their day dealing with emails. This seminar with teach users how to better manage Outlook, to increase productivity, and dive into the many features of Outlook (calendars, tasks, contact lists, appointments, etc.).
