On the evening of Saturday, January 25, 2020 a group of seven CPABC Surrey/Langley/N.Delta Chapter members and candidates volunteered at NightShift Ministries on King George highway in Surrey.

It was a nice dry evening although it was a little chilly from the wind. But that did not stop the volunteers from having fun. There was plenty of time to network with other #NightShift volunteers and mingling with new Street friends.

The #CPABCgiving team helped by serving hot meals from the food truck.  The meal that night was a tasty pork curry on rice with a peanut butter jelly sandwich.  Several volunteers helped sort and hand out clothing from the clothing truck. Others were stationed at the dessert and drink table where coffee, hot chocolate, and pop were served.

The team also brought basic toiletries to hand out which had been donated by the members during various Chapter events from October to December of 2019.

NightShift Ministries is a registered not for profit society that serves meals nightly 365 days a year outside of its office on King George highway in Surrey. They have a volunteer base of 2,500 individuals including community groups and church teams. They also offer crisis counselling, prayer and shelter during the cold winter days.

Thank you to the volunteers who shared a couple of hours of their time to help make a difference. We are #CPAproud of your contribution.
