Recap: CPA Program Overview Held in Surrey

Suzanne Berry and Lily Dayson CPA CGA were the presenters for the session.

CPABC, in collaboration with the CPABC Surrey/Langley/NDelta Chapter, hosted a free PD session entitled “CPA Program Overview” on February 7 at the Guildford Golf & Country Club in Surrey.

Over 45 members attended this event which was presented by CPABC staff Lily Dayson CPA CGA and Suzanne Berry (pictured above).  Chapter chair Carl Markwart CPA CGA served as the emcee for the session.

The session is designed to educate legacy members about the basics of the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) so that they can feel confident engaging prospective students about the CPA program.

At the conclusion of the session, Carl thanked members for their interest and for being #cpaproud of their designation.  Attendees were awarded CPA pins to wear as proud ambassadors of the profession.

Additional sessions are being held at the CPABC office in Vancouver and the session will soon be offered across the province.  Watch for details in upcoming chapter emails and chapter blogs.
