Event Recap: An evening at the bank

Chapter volunteers at the Surrey Food Bank

On August 24, 2017, a dozen members, students and candidates from the CPABC Surrey/Langley/NDelta Chapter volunteered at the Surrey Food Bank to distribute food to the bank’s many clients.

For over 34 years, the Surrey Food Bank has helped local residents by distributing 2,000 food hampers each week and by providing many support programs.  The food bank is located at 10732 City Parkway and supplies nutritious food in a respectful and dignified environment.  This local organization takes pride that it “invites, informs, involves and inspires,” the Surrey community.
