Community Engagement: Local CPAs in Lake2Lake Ride for Rwanda

Stanley Chang CPA CGA, in the Lake2Lake Ride for Rwanda, this September 2019.

On September 14-15, 2019, 80 riders will be participating in a 2-day major cycling event called The Lake2Lake for Rwanda Ride.  Several local CPAs will be participating in this ride including Stanley Chang CPA CGA and Tom Senft CPA CGA, both former legacy chapter chairs and provincial board members, and Edgar Luck CPA CMA.

The Ride aims to raise $85,000 to benefit the Wellspring Foundation for Education in Rwanda.

Proceeds will be used to support quality education teaching to young children in one of the world’s poorest nations that has been afflicted by civil war, malnutrition and disease.

The route is 200 km and passes through the Okanagan and Shuswap regions.  It starts in Vernon then thru Armstrong, Salmon Arm, and Sorrento before ending in Eagle Bay.

If you want to support these riders, then visit their donation page (links provide below) to read their personal story:

Good luck to all the riders.
