About the presenter:
Sunny is a corporate commercial Partner at Hamilton Duncan. His areas of practice include corporate, commercial, real estate and banking law.
Sunny advises a wide range of clients from owner-operated businesses to large corporations spanning several jurisdictions. Regardless of the size of business, Sunny is dedicated to providing his clients with prompt, effective and efficient service.
Sunny has extensive experience in a number of areas including the purchase and sale of businesses, corporate reorganizations, franchise matters, fiduciary obligations, corporate governance, partnership and shareholder agreements, independent contractor agreements, supply/distribution arrangements, real estate transactions, commercial leases and equity and/or debt financing.

Presenter: Rupam Rishi

About the presenter:
Rupam Rishi has joined the firm as a corporate commercial lawyer after being called to the Bar in September, 2018. Her practice is comprised of matters relating to corporate, commercial, real estate and banking law. She originally joined Hamilton Duncan as a summer student in 2016, and returned for her articles in 2017 after completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria.
Rupam is passionate about helping members of her community and has been involved with the Surrey Food Bank and Hamper To Your Home program. During law school, she actively volunteered with organizations that aimed to facilitate access to justice such as Access Pro Bono’s Mental Health and Civil Chambers programs. Being proficient in Punjabi and Hindi has allowed her to not only enjoy the diversity of her community but provide assistance to those who are in need.
Prior to attending law school, Rupam obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, concentrating in human resource management and international business.
Rupam was born and raised in Surrey and loves the community she lives in. In her spare time, she enjoys learning new dance styles, watching sports such as mixed martial arts, as well as hunting for the best nacho place in town.
