Please join us for this chapter PD event: Best Practices in Management Consulting. It turns out that the number one reason small and medium sized businesses leave their accountant is that they “Do not give proactive advice, only reactive”
In this presentation, Mark Wardell will define in detail what true management consulting can, and should look like. The presentation will examine the importance of Strategizing, Quantifying, and Systemizing proactively with your clients in order to help them build a healthy, sustainable, and profitable business that others will want to buy.
- Strategizing involves reviewing the client’s business from a broad, holistic approach and identifying the strategic issues the company faces. Most of the strategizing efforts occur in the Leadership and Management sections of the Wardell program.
- Quantifying involves taking the work accomplished in the strategizing phase and developing metrics to track the progress a business is making in meeting its strategic goals. These metrics are known as Key Performance Indicators or “KPIs”, and are unique for each level and activity within a business.
- Systemizing involves transforming the efforts of both the strategizing and quantifying phases to create systems and processes to implement the activities the KPIs are attempting to track.
