Chapter Makes Pledge towards the David Sale Memorial Fund at KPU

The CPABC Surrey/Langley/North Delta Chapter has pledged a total of $10,000, paid over four years, towards the David Sale Memorial Fund at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU).

David Sale FCPA FCGA passed away on September 25, 2017.   David was a former board chair of CGA-BC, a trustee of the CPABC Benevolent Fund, and a long time academic at KPU.  He was widely admired by his former students (many of whom have become CPAs), his academic peers and colleagues in the accounting profession in BC and nationally as well.

The pledge by the chapter matches funds currently being raised by KPU faculty and friends as well as an equivalent match by the KPU Foundation.   The goal is to raise $30,000 to support an annual scholarship award to a KPU accounting student of approximately $1500, in perpetuity.

To make a donation to this fund, contact Pamela Pittman, advancement officer at KPU.
