Canada-BC Job Grant Information Session

Information breakfast session – February 19, 2018.

Small Business BC (SBBC) extends an invitation to CPABC members owning a small business, including those who operate their own public practice firm, to attend a free information session to learn whether you may be eligible for government grants to offset the cost of skills training and professional development for yourself and your employees.

The Canada-B.C. Job Grant (CJG) assists eligible employers to offset the cost of training by reimbursing 2/3 (two-thirds) of employee training costs up to a maximum of $10,000 per participant per fiscal year. The employer contributes at least one-third to the cost of training. When the employer hires someone who is previously unemployed, the maximum amount is $15,000 per participant.

SBBC is the province’s resource centre for small business owners and is a Service Provider for the Canada-BC Job Grant. Attendees will have their questions answered by knowledgeable SBBC representative.
