2017 MET Wraps Up with Final Stop in Surrey

The 2017 Member Engagement Tour wrapped up with a final stop in Surrey BC on November 29, 2017.  The 2017 MET started in early October and included 22 locations across the province.  Over 1,250 members, students and candidates attended the tour including over 100 attendees who were at the CPABC Surrey/Langley/N.Delta Chapter MET held at Northview Golf and Country Club.

The evening started with a networking reception followed by a delicious buffet dinner.

 

Chapter Chair Carl Markwart CPA CGA emceed the evening and introduced presenters Lori Mathison FCPA FCGA, CEO of CPABC, Heather Banham FCPA FCGA, CPABC provincial board chair, and Jan Sampson FCPA FCA, EVP Education and Member Engagement.

Also in attendance was Stanley Chang CPA CGA, a member of the provincial board and board liaison to the Surrey/Langley/NDelta Chapter, David Chiang CPA CA, VP Member Services and Brigitte Ilk CPA CGA, professional standards advisor.
