About the Speaker:
Bill Quinn, President of NuStride Executive Coaching, has been a resident of northern BC for over 38 years. He has been designing and delivering
workshops within government since 1994 and on his own for the past 8 years. His focus has always been giving all participants a voice and as such,
is well versed in the use of learning organization facilitation tools such as world cafes, open spaces, challenge walls, etc.
A certified executive coach and accredited through the International Coaching Federation, Bill brings a coach approach to his workshops. He has
taken additional training to enhance his skills in this area (specifically A Coach Approach to Facilitation and a Coach Approach to Team Building
through Essential Impact of Vancouver – these courses are endorsed through the International Coaching Federation). Key to this philosophy is
creating a safe space for participants to be present, comfortable in voicing their thoughts and leave feeling they have said what is on their mind.
Through open questions, curiosity and suspending judgment, attendees are able to fully participate in the session.
A NuStride session focuses on creating conversations, a high level of activity and a minimal use of powerpoint.
Being a professional forester since 1981 (now retired) and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) since 2009, Bill has a keen understanding of the
pressures on professionals and the need for continuing education – especially in enhancing leadership skills.
