Event Recap: Practitioner Forum (North Okanagan)

A dozen local practitioners attended the quarterly meeting of the Practitioners’ Forum – North Okanagan on September 14, 2017 which was held at the Phoenix Steakhouse in Vernon.

The forum is open to all licensed practitioners in the Okanagan and meets for lunch to discuss issues of relevance to practitioners.  At the September 2017 meeting, the agenda covered the paperless office, compilation engagements, the recently released policy paper on tax planning using private corporations, and an open forum to discuss practice management issues.  CPABC also provided updates on upcoming PD for practitioners.

If you would like to join the forum, go to the Practitioner Forum tab on the chapter home page.  If you meet the criteria for the forum then email David Chiang CPA CA, vice-president member services, with your interest.
