Recap: Canucks fall prey to Predators

The CPABC North Shore/Sunshine Coast Chapter hosted their 3rd  annual CPABC Canucks Game Night on March 2, 2018.

One hundred members and their guests came out to a pre-game networking reception before heading to the arena to support the home team take on the Nashville Predators. The Chapter reception was held at D/6 – Vancouver’s newest lounge in the upmarket Douglas Hotel at Parq Vancouver.  D/6 features a pool table, secret private room (shown below) with stunning cityscape views on both sides.

On this wet Friday night, attendees appreciated the warm welcome  by chapter volunteers who provided each person with a raffle ticket for a chance to win several gift cards and the highly coveted grand prize of the evening – two complimentary game tickets generously donated by the Canucks organization.

Near game time, members and their guests headed to Rogers Arena for puck drop at 7pm. The Canucks started off strong with the first of their three game goals.  The Predators matched each Canuck goal keeping the score tight all evening.  The Canucks fell prey to the Predators by an overtime goal ending the game 4-3 for Nashville.

The CPABC North Shore / Sunshine Coast Chapter thanks all members and their guests for attending this sold out event.  Watch for upcoming PD, social networking and community events in the chapter’s email communications and website blog.  But be sure to register early as chapter events do sell out often.

Or if you want to get involved as a chapter volunteer, contact Ivan Chenkov, Chapter Chair, or any of the other chapter board members to express your interest.
