The CPABC Member Recognition Program
Exceptional volunteerism and career achievement—both in the community and within the profession—is something that CPABC celebrates.
The CPABC Member Recognition Program recognizes excellence and achievement by objectively assessing career success, volunteerism in the community, and contributions to the profession.
CPABC award winners will exemplify the best attributes of chartered professional accountants: leadership, expertise, innovative thinking, integrity, and commitment to the highest standards and best practices.
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes members who have been actively involved in activities as volunteers for many years for their dedication, commitment and outstanding contribution to the CPA Profession usually in committee, chapters or task forces of the CPA profession and/or for their unstinting support to one or more not-for-profit or charitable organizations.
The Early Achievement Award celebrates members who distinguish themselves early in their CPA career through professional achievement and volunteer service, with an emphasis on professional accomplishment.
Fellowship recognizes those members who have rendered exceptional service to the profession, whose achievements in their careers and/or whose contributions in the community have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession.
The Honorary CPA Award recognizes the leadership and executive accomplishments of non-members that have made a significant contribution to the profession and positions them as leaders in the business community and community at large.
Finally, the highest accolade CPABC will bestow is the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes FCPAs who, after receiving their fellowship, have continued to exemplify extraordinary leadership and accomplishments in a broad range of areas.
More information on each award is available at bccpa.ca, along with nomination forms. The deadline for submitting nominations is September15, 2017.
