Recap: Volunteering at local Food Bank

CPABC Kamloops/Cariboo Chapter organized a morning of food sorting at Kamloops Food Bank Society on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.  Eight members, students and candidates came out to sort cans of food and build non-perishable hampers.

The food bank began as a way to assist people through the devastating effects of the high inflation rates of the early 1980’s. In 2017, approximately 7000 individuals accessed the services at the Kamloops Food Bank.

A big thank you to all who volunteered and helped make a difference!
