Thompson Rivers University (TRU) has announced that Natalia Fil has received the CPABC Kamloops/Cariboo Chapter Award for $1,500. This award is funded annually by members of the local CPABC chapter through the surplus generated from the chapter PD program.  Natalia is pictured above with CPABC Kamloops/Cariboo Chapter Chair Trish Elliott CPA CA receiving her cheque at the 2016 TRU Foundation Awards Ceremony held on November 24, 2016.

Further, Adam Trudel and Jared Wilman have received a CPAEF Scholarship valued at $2,000 each.  Trudel (below left) and Wilman (below right) are again pictured with Trish Elliott.  Said Wilman, “the recognition of my hard work means a lot to me and the award is greatly appreciated.  I look forward to joining as a CPA in the future!”  These two awards have been made possible by the generosity of William Fedorak FCPA FCMA – a distinguished local member who has long supported the advancement of accounting education.

Congratulations to Adam, Jared and Natalia on your achievement and good luck as you pursue your Chartered Professional Accountant designation.

Welcome Back BBQ 2013.
