Father’s Day Walk Run for Prostate Cancer – Kamloops

CPABC and the Kamloops Cariboo Chapter are pleased to support the BC Prostate Cancer Foundation as a bronze level sponsor of the 2017 Father’s Day Walk Run on June 18, 2017.

There will be simultaneous runs occurring in Burnaby, Chilliwack, Kamloops, Kelowna and Victoria.  To participate in this walk or run, you can register online.   Participate individually or as a CPABC team.  As a bronze sponsor, if each person on the team raises a minimum $150, the entry fee of $40 is waived.

Jeff Morgan, CPA CA, chair of the BC Prostate Cancer Foundation said, “Prostate cancer afflicts 1 in 8 men, is the number one cause of cancer for men, is the second cause of cancer death in men.  The good news though is that it is highly treatable if detected early.  Thank you CPABC members for your support!  Together, we can make a difference!”

Some CPABC chapters will also have the opportunity to volunteer at the event.  Stay tuned for more details.
