Nancy Hogan is Chief Human Resources Officer at Daiya Foods Inc. and part of the Senior leadership team responsible for leading a fast-paced, high growth entrepreneurial plant-based food company to achieve business results.
Nancy is responsible for recruiting, culture, and employment initiatives such as retention, succession planning and career growth, performance management, health and safety, and compensation. She has an immense experience in providing strategic human resources leadership during intense periods of change and growth.
Nancy has a passion for coaching individuals to help them develop new skills, improve work-life balance, or transition into new roles. She believes that becoming aware of possibilities is available by focusing on their strengths and passions. Nancy has a genuine caring and desire to see people succeed and has years of proven professional experience as a senior leader and coach in strategic operations and talent management.
Her wealth of over 30 years’ experience includes 5 years as CHRO at Daiya Foods, 2 years as Director of HR at Deluxe/Method Studios, 5 years of working in the Sauder School of Business as Director of HR and Strategy, and 7 years in UBC Centre of Health Services and Policy Research as Assistant Director, HR and Business Operations.
Nancy has been a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) for over 12 years. Her coaching focus lies in personal and professional leadership development, career development and transition.
Sandy Moore, CPHR, M. COUNS, B. ED
Sandy Moore is Senior Career Consultant with Optimum Talent. And she brings over 25 years of diverse experience including career counseling and transition, training and development, recruitment and selection, and human resources.
Previously, Sandy managed the HR department for one of the top 10 public accounting firms in BC, focusing in employee engagement and retention, and received North American recognition for best practices in recruiting. Additionally, she has held senior roles specializing in career transition for a global career management consulting firm, and consistently achieved top results as a recruiter with an established placement firm in Vancouver.
Sandy served as the career manager and advisor for MBA graduate and Bachelor of Arts co-op students and has created and facilitated numerous workshops focusing on the job search process to various organizations. She holds a Master of Counseling and Bachelor of Education; designations as a CPHR (Chartered Professional of Human Resources) and CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant); certifications as a Counsellor and Teacher; and training in numerous vocational assessment tools.
An active volunteer with the Vancouver Arts Club Theatre, Sandy was elected to the Board of Directors, and participated on both the Executive Search and Human Resources committees. Additionally, Sandy served as a Mentor for the Human Resources Management Association.
