Douglas College, one of three post-secondary institutions within the CPABC Burnaby/New Westminster Chapter region, has received a $2,500 Speaker Series grant from the CPA Education Foundation (CPAEF) to support accounting and business faculty development.

The college is planning to host a session on December 3, 2019 on “Teambuilding and Collaboration” by Kandis Neth PEng, M.Ed., a learning and development specialist. The intent is to support faculty with skills in leading students through collaborative learning and identify projects that encourage teamwork.

In addition to this grant, the chapter has funded a new multi-year student scholarship at Douglas College to support a student in the data analytics concentration.
